Service Connect uses DCM to collect and transmit vehicle data that allows Toyota

Vehicle Alerts, Required Maintenance, and Vehicle Condition Status)

■ Enabling/disabling the pre-collision system
The pre-collision system can be enabled/disabled on
of the multi-information
display.
The system is automatically enabled each time the engine switch is turned to
ON.
If the system is disabled, the PCS warning light will turn on and a message will
be displayed on the multi-information display.
■ Changing the pre-collision warning timing

If the engine is stopped with the shift lever in a position other than P, the
engine switch will not be turned off but instead be turned to ACC. Perform the following
procedure to turn the switch off:
1 Check that the parking brake is set.
2 Shift the shift lever to P.
3 Check that “ACCESSORY” is displayed on the multi-information display and press
the engine switch shortly and firmly.
