Toyota Corolla: Dynamic radar cruise control with full-speed range / Canceling and resuming the speed control

1 Pressing the cancel switch cancels the speed control.
The speed control is also canceled when the brake pedal is depressed. (When the
vehicle has been stopped by system control, depressing the brake pedal does not
cancel the setting.)
2 Pressing the “+RES” switch resumes the cruise control and returns vehicle speed
to the set speed.
Select a distance from the table below. Note that the distances shown correspond
to a vehicle speed of 50 mph (80 km/h). Vehicle-to-vehicle distance increases/decreases
in accordance with vehicle speed...
When your vehicle is too close to a vehicle ahead, and sufficient automatic deceleration
via the cruise control is not possible, the display will flash and the buzzer will
sound to alert the driver...

The following procedures may be used to start the engine if the vehicle’s battery
is discharged. You can also call your Toyota dealer or a qualified repair shop.
Restarting the engine
If you have a set of jumper (or booster) cables and a second vehicle with a 12-volt
battery, you can jump start your vehicle by following the steps below...
Check if the treadwear indicators are showing on the tires. Also check the tires
for uneven wear, such as excessive wear on one side of the tread.
Check the spare tire condition and pressure if not rotated.

The location of treadwear indicators is shown by a “TWI” or “”
mark, etc...
